Transport & Logistics

Fleet, shipment and warehouse data in one place, so dispatch, operations and customers can see where every consignment stands.

Where the data usually lives

  • Transport management systems (TMS)
  • GPS and vehicle telematics feeds
  • Warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Booking, billing and proof-of-delivery records
  • Partner and vendor spreadsheets

We have delivered projects for Agarwal Packers & Movers (APML), a logistics company.

Where Transport & Logistics data gets stuck

The problems we hear about most often in this sector, each set against what we build for it.

  1. Consignment status lives in phone calls and spreadsheets, so customers chase updates.

What we build: A shipment tracking model built from bookings, scans and GPS, with status views for operations and customers.

  2. GPS data is collected but never joined to trips, costs or delivery times.

What we build: Pipelines that tie telematics data to trips, routes and delivery times.

  3. Warehouse, transport and billing systems disagree about the same shipment.

What we build: One shipment record across TMS, WMS and billing, with mismatches flagged for review.

  4. Vehicle, fuel and maintenance costs are reported a month late, if at all.

What we build: Fleet cost reports per vehicle, route and customer, built from fuel, trip and maintenance data.

What we work on in Transport & Logistics

Logistics companies track vehicles, consignments, warehouses and billing in different tools. We connect them, keep the operational databases running and build the tracking and cost reports operations teams rely on.

  • Fleet and trip data

Vehicle location, trips, idle time and fuel, joined to bookings so each trip has a cost and an outcome.

  • Shipment tracking

Milestones from booking to delivery in one record, shared with customers through reports or a portal.

  • Warehouse and billing

Inbound, outbound and storage data linked to invoices, so operations and finance agree on what moved.

The services that matter most in Transport & Logistics

In logistics, one shipment passes through many hands and systems. These services make it one record from booking to invoice.

Every service we offer is listed on the services page.

Questions about Transport & Logistics projects

Anything not covered here, ask us on the consultation call.

Our GPS vendor has its own portal. Can you still use the data?
Usually, yes. Most telematics providers offer an API or a scheduled export. We pull the data into your own store, so it can be joined to bookings and costs.
Do we have to replace our transport management system?
No. We normally read from the systems you run today. Replacement only comes up if a system cannot export its data at all.
