Data governance and security that hold up under review

We set the rules for who owns, sees and changes your data, put the controls in place, and keep them working as your systems change.

What we take on

  • Governance frameworkData owners, definitions, classification and policies, agreed and written down.
  • Access control and encryptionRole-based access, least privilege, encryption and masking for sensitive fields.
  • Compliance readinessYour controls mapped to the regulations you answer to, with the evidence an auditor asks for.
  • Privacy and consentA record of the personal data you hold, why you hold it, and the consent behind it.
  • Monitoring and incident responseAudit logs, alerts on unusual access, and a written plan for when something goes wrong.

Controls that cover every layer, because the same team built those layers.

Where this fits in your stack

Analyca covers the whole path from database to decision. Data Governance & Security is the Protect layer, and the same team covers the other four.

When companies call us about data governance

  • You notice: We are not sure who can see what, or whether we would pass an audit.

What we do: We map who has access to which data, close the gaps and set up the records an audit asks for.

  • You notice: Customer data has been copied into spreadsheets and shared drives.

What we do: We find where personal data lives, classify it and put access and retention rules around it.

    Discuss this
  • You notice: A new regulation applies to us and nobody owns the response.

What we do: We map its requirements to your systems and agree who owns each control.

How an engagement starts

You see a written plan with scope, timeline and team before any work begins.

Hands typing on a laptop with code on the screen
  1. Step 1: Talk

A call with our engineers about your systems, your data and the decisions you need it for.

  2. Step 2: Assess

We review your current setup and send a written plan with scope, timeline and team.

For governance and security, that review covers where sensitive data lives, who can access it, current policies, logging and the regulations you answer to.

  3. Step 3: Build and run

We deliver the work with documentation, and can stay on to run and support it.

Common questions

Something else on your mind? Email info@analyca.in or book a consultation.

Do you certify us as compliant?
No. Certification comes from an accredited auditor. We help you put the controls, policies and records in place, and prepare the evidence the audit will ask for.
Which regulations can you help with?
We work from the regulations that apply to your business, for example GDPR for customers in the EU, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or the rules of your sector's regulator. The assessment sets out which apply and what they require of your systems.
Will governance slow our teams down?
It should not. We design access and approval rules around how your teams work, and automate checks where we can, so people get the data they need without workarounds.
How do we start working together on data governance?
With a call between you and our engineers about your systems and what you need. We then review your current setup and send a written plan with scope, timeline and team. Work starts once you have agreed the plan.
